I love to experiment with new ideas and techniques. I'm always wondering "what if..." I love to repurpose items in my
art and jewelry.
Lately I've been exploring mixed media painting. Layers of alcohol inks, paper, splattered and stenciled paints, and an acrylic underpainting topped with oils. So many layers to examine!
I hope to communicate the wonder and joy of life as well as the fragility.
 Lynnette Pair Artist Statement:
My name is Lynnette Pair. My husband Rob and I live in Wendell. I have two daughters, Beth and Leslie both married and three grandson's Will, Bradley, and Clay.

I started taking art lessons when I was a teenager from a private art teacher in Oklahoma, which led me later to a degree in Commercial Art. I continued learning from several local artist in the Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas area.
In 2006 I felt a calling from the Lord to open my home and give art classes to local home schooled children, public school children, and adults.
I believe if children are able to express themselves creatively through the arts they are less likely to fill the void with drugs or alcohol. It's also a great self-esteem builder. My students are so creative and inspiring, that it is very rewarding and satisfying for me personally to teach them.
When the Art of Giving opened I moved most of my classes there and developed more paint classes, workshops, art camps, and paint parties.
Besides painting on all types of surfaces, canvas, furniture, glass, etc., I love to create with stained glass. You can see and purchase my stained glass pieces, and paintings from my studio or gift section, or catch my daughter Leslie and I at a local festivals.
I give God all the praise and glory for blessing me with the talent to create and teach, without Him leading and guiding me I would be nothing, for all of my work is inspired by the Lord.
